LOTR OLYMPICS 2011 - WIN XBOX 360 / NINTENO WI

This year's LOTR Olympics is going to be the biggest ever, with participants from all three gaming systems competing against each other for the first time. If this turns out to be the last summer of LOTR Conquest, we're going to send the game out with a bang by offering our best ever set of prizes! Even if you have left the game, we hope you come back for this one last tournament to send it off in style! Please spread the word of this tournament. My friends: you bow to no one!

This year we're adding two new events: an exciting doubles tournament and the titanic Ironman Challenge! As before, each tournament match will be edited and uploaded to youtube with commentary (this time in a timely fashion!).

List your name below if you would like to enter. Please write down the events you would like to participate in. NOTE: you can enter as many events as you like.

The tournament starts on Friday August 12th. Matches can be scheduled by the players themselves (don't worry if you are on holiday on this date) in consultation with PSX Mayhem (who must be present at all matches). Tournament matches must be completed by the end of October.

IMPORTANT: Our refree, Mayhem, will be present at all matches and his decision is final. There will be no arguing about levels, locations or modes. The same stages will be used as for the first LOTR Olympics, footage of which can be see here: www.youtube.com/sormayhem

SINGLES EVENTS:

Archer
Rules: First to 15, then swap sides and do another first to 15. Highest total kills wins. Whole map duel, all shots allowed. No infinite special arrow glitching (instant disqualification).
Location: The Shire HTDM

Warrior:
First to 10 kills (First to 15 in semi finals and final)
Location: Rivendell Waterfall OR Osgiliath Bridge (players to decide: coin toss in the event of a dispute)

First to 15 kills (First to 20 kills in semi finals and final)
Location: Rivendell Waterfall OR Osgiliath Bridge (players to decide: coin toss in the event of a dispute)

Pick one good hero, one evil hero.
1 - Your good hero vs opponent's evil hero (first to 5 kills)
2 - Your evil hero vs opponent's good hero (first to 5 kills)
Total highest kills wins. Semifinals and final play first to 7.

If you win any of the single's competitions listed above you may choose one of the following items as your prize!

1 - War In The North game for the platform of your choice (PC, XBOX 360, PS3) (note you must be 18 years old or have parental permission to claim this prize)



2 - LOTR complete Film Trilogy Blu Ray Extended Edition, box-set.



3 - LOTR audiobook. Complete unabridged audio recording of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, read by Rob Inglis



4 - LOTR special 50th anniversary collector's hardback edition of Tolkien's famous novel.



5 - LOTR Mines of Moria fantasy battle game. Published by Games Workshop, the makers of Warhammer.



2v2 DOUBLES:
2v2 no class restrictions. First to 30 kills (First to 50 kills in final).
Location: Osgiliath Bridge.
NOTE: Each team starts at a different end of the bridge. When both members of one team have been killed, all surviving players return to their starting positions and wait for their opponents to respawn.

SPECIAL IRONMAN CHALLENGE
A duel with every class (including Hero Warrior), with highest total combined kills giving victory. First to 10 kills in scout, warrior, mage and hero warrior (with switch as outlined above) first to 10 kills with archer (straight shot duelling, Osgiliath bridge).
